Quote the price that will hold
If the configurator calculates differently from the office, someone corrects the price afterwards. Then the online calculation was an estimate with an interface.
Product configurator & calculator
A configurator is only as good as the pricing logic behind it. We build product configurators and quote calculators whose result comes from your parameters — dimensions, variants, materials, rules — not from a price list someone maintains by hand. With a 3D view in the browser when the product needs one. From €500; scope and final price in writing before work begins.
If the configurator calculates differently from the office, someone corrects the price afterwards. Then the online calculation was an estimate with an interface.
Which options fit together belongs in the configurator's logic — not in a call-back after the enquiry.
For products whose variants have to be seen — material, colour, shape — a 3D view in the browser replaces a list of technical terms.
The result is a record holding every chosen parameter. It goes on into the quote, the order or production instead of being retyped.
Many configurators are a form with pictures in front of it. The real calculation happens afterwards — in Excel, in a salesperson's head or in a follow-up question. The customer has configured, but has decided nothing.
The calculator works from a table someone updates by hand. When a material price changes, the website quotes wrong until someone catches up the table.
The quote is produced in a file one person understands. When that person is away, the customer waits.
An off-the-shelf plugin fits as long as the variants are simple. Once options depend on each other or the price follows from dimensions, the rest is calculated by hand again.
A 3D view changes nothing if there are no rules behind it. It then shows variants that cannot be produced and prices that are wrong.
Field staff price on a tablet against the manufacturer's parameters and quote the price in the same visit. Built this way in our window installation project.
Quotes that are produced in a spreadsheet today become a calculator with fixed rules that several people operate the same way.
Customers assemble visible variants themselves and see the view and the price at once. As an example we show a ring configurator demo — a demo, not a client project.
When dealers or business customers order variants, for instance in machinery and plant engineering, the configurator checks the combination before the enquiry reaches sales.
Reference: in the project for a window installation business, the price calculator on the tablet works from the production parameters of the manufacturer's plant. Measurement, a binding price, the contract and the deposit happen in one customer visit.

3D example, closet configurator: enter dimensions, see the 3D layout, calculate the price, output a quote as a PDF with calculation and layout. Prices, catalogue and dimensions are sample values, not a price list.

Measurement, a binding price, the contract and the deposit inside one customer visit: the surveyor's tablet prices against the plant's own parameters, and the order reaches the factory and comes back as production stages without being re-entered.

Business impact
We record how your price is actually produced today: parameters, formulas, exceptions — and who knows them.
Valid combinations, rounding and special cases are written down before any interface is built.
The calculation logic is checked against quotes your team has already priced by hand. Where the results differ, the rule is clarified first.
Form, step sequence or 3D view — depending on what the customer needs to see to decide. Then the handover to CRM or production.

A 3D product configurator is a browser application in which customers choose the variants of a product — material, colour, shape, dimensions — and see the result as a 3D model with a calculated price. The 3D rendering runs on WebGL, with nothing to install.
A plugin for WordPress, WooCommerce or Shopify is enough as long as the options are independent of each other and the price is a sum of surcharges. Custom development makes sense when options depend on each other, the price follows from dimensions or production parameters, or the result has to move on into CRM or production.
Not always. If the variants can be described unambiguously in words and dimensions, a calculator without 3D is enough. 3D pays off when the customer has to see the result to decide.
The Excel file is a good starting point because that is where the actual logic lives. We turn formulas and exceptions into fixed rules and check the result against quotes that have already been priced.
No. The demos show how a configurator works: a ring configurator, a closet configurator and a terrace configurator. Prices, catalogue and dimensions in them are sample values. As a client project with a price calculator we point to the window installation project.
Yes. A quote is produced from the configuration as a PDF with calculation and layout; the demos show the principle with sample values.
From €500. The final price depends mostly on the pricing logic, less on the interface. That is why we state scope, price and timeline only after the calculation has been captured — in writing, before work begins.
Start with the process check. Then we work out whether a calculator, a configurator or first an orderly process is the right tool.
